About Irene Kuniski

Born and raised in Brazil, Irene Kuniski received her Bachelor's degree in Piano Performance from the Conservatory Dramatic Musical and the Conservatory Musical Meirelles; both in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Her teachers have included A.Stankunas, Wilson Meirelles, and Dean Elder.

Irene teaches in her private studio, and for the past 40 years has taught students of all levels, from beginners through young adults. Her students participate in studio recitals, the Arizona Study Program, Piano Ensemble, and various festivals and competitions.

She is an active member of the National Music Association, Board member of Arizona State Teachers Association, and the 2007-2009 President of the Phoenix Music Teachers Association.

Irene Kuniski resides in Glendale, Arizona, speaks four languages fluently and spends her time dedicated to her students and family.
